Preparation
  1. Place the boneless chicken breasts into your slow cooker or oven-safe dish.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the chicken, covering evenly.
  3. Slice the butter and scatter it over the chicken, then pour the pepperoncini peppers over the top.
Cooking Options
  1. For a slow cooker: Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
  2. For oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), cover with foil and bake for about 1 hour or until cooked through.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks or serve it whole and drizzle with sauce.
