  • 1 cup pickles, sliced
Marinade Ingredients
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the cheese cubes, sliced salami, and sliced pickles.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the marinade over the cheese mixture and gently toss until everything is well coated.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  5. Once marinated, serve the cheese appetizer with toothpicks for easy snacking.

Notes

Experiment with different cheese varieties like feta, goat cheese, or pepper jack for added flavor. Fresh herbs like basil or thyme can elevate the dish further. Marinating for 30 minutes is acceptable, but overnight offers the best flavor.
