Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour Can substitute with whole wheat or gluten-free flour.
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt Other plain yogurts can be used.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 each egg For egg wash.
  • to taste sesame seeds Optional for topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Mix together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Add the plain Greek yogurt and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until the dough starts to come together.
  3. Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into 6-8 equal parts. Roll each part into a ball and poke a hole in the center to shape into bagels.
  5. Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush the tops of the bagels with the egg wash, sprinkling sesame seeds on top if desired.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the bagels in the fryer basket without overcrowding them.
  3. Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Allow bagels to cool slightly before serving. They can be enjoyed plain or with your favorite spread.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. For longer storage, freeze wrapped bagels for up to 3 months. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
