Preparation
- Mix together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Add the plain Greek yogurt and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until the dough starts to come together.
- Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 2-3 minutes until smooth.
- Divide the dough into 6-8 equal parts. Roll each part into a ball and poke a hole in the center to shape into bagels.
- Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush the tops of the bagels with the egg wash, sprinkling sesame seeds on top if desired.
Cooking
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the bagels in the fryer basket without overcrowding them.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Serving
- Allow bagels to cool slightly before serving. They can be enjoyed plain or with your favorite spread.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. For longer storage, freeze wrapped bagels for up to 3 months. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
