- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula (about 5 minutes).
- Once the beef is browned, stir in the minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Toss in the broccoli florets and stir-fry with the beef for another 3-4 minutes, or until bright green and tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sesame oil. Pour this mixture over the beef and broccoli, mixing well to coat.
- Stir further for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.
- Serve immediately over cooked rice and enjoy!
Notes
For added variety, include quick-cooking vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days or frozen for about a month.
