Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add in your chosen pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.
Sautéing Garlic
  1. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, stirring constantly for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.
Cooking Chicken
  1. Add the diced chicken breast to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the chicken has cooked through and is no longer pink.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Lower the heat and add the cooked pasta directly into the skillet with the chicken. Gradually pour in the reserved pasta water and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until everything is well combined and creamy.
Serving

Notes

If you like variation, try adding steamed broccoli or spinach to the pasta for a health boost and extra color.
