Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 slices slices of bread (your choice: white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced or more, if you’re feeling adventurous!
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for an extra wow factor)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Spread a generous layer of the garlic butter mixture onto one side of each slice of bread, covering it evenly.
  4. Place the slices butter-side up on a baking sheet. If you want, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese generously on top for extra flavor!
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the butter is bubbling.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute, then slice and serve warm. Enjoy!

Notes

For a richer garlic flavor, let the garlic butter sit for a short time before spreading it on the bread. Consider adding Italian seasoning or red pepper flakes for an extra kick. Monitor the baking process to achieve the perfect golden-brown finish without burning.
