  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water. Trim the ends and cut them in half.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with the honey-balsamic mixture until coated.
  5. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
  2. Once done, remove from the oven, and serve warm. Drizzle with any remaining glaze.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding red pepper flakes to the honey-balsamic mixture or substituting honey with maple syrup for a vegan version. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes before serving.
