Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine your diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well.
- On a clean surface, unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Spoon a generous amount of the apple mixture onto the wider end of each triangle.
- Gently roll the dough from the wide end to the tip, enclosing the apple filling. Press the edges to seal.
- Place the turnovers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with melted butter.
Baking
- Bake in the oven for about 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- Once cooled slightly, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Unbaked turnovers can be frozen for up to 1 month.
