  • 1 pound Fresh strawberries (washed and hulled) Use room temperature for better chocolate adhesion.
  • 8 ounces Chocolate chips (dark, milk, or white) Choose according to your preference.
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut oil (optional for smoothing the chocolate) Optional but recommended for a smoother melt.
Optional toppings
  • to taste Sprinkles, crushed nuts, or sea salt Sprinkle on while chocolate is warm.

Preparation
  1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly and dry them completely with a paper towel.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
Dipping
  1. Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, coating it generously.
  2. If using toppings, sprinkle them on the chocolate while it's still warm.
Setting
  1. Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow them to set at room temperature or in the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens.
Serving
  1. Once the chocolate is firm, enjoy these delightful bites immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within two days. For longer storage, freeze them with parchment paper between each strawberry.
