  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Ensure chicken is halal-compliant.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup Use halal-compliant soup.
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 package stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the chopped celery and onion. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, and the prepped vegetables.
  4. Fold in the shredded chicken into the creamy mixture.
  5. Stir in the stuffing mix until just combined.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  8. If using, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Can substitute turkey for chicken and add vegetables like diced carrots or peas. Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2-3 months. Reheat in oven.
