  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup warm water Temperature should be around 110°F (43°C) to activate the yeast.
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Begin by placing your bread machine on a flat surface. Ensure it is unplugged and clean.
  2. In a bowl, combine the bread flour, salt, sugar, and active dry yeast. Mix gently to ensure even distribution.
  3. Pour in the warm water and add the melted butter.
  4. Close the lid and select the Basic Bread setting on your machine. Choose the size of the loaf and the crust color you prefer.
  5. Press the start button and let the machine knead, rise, and bake the bread.
  6. Once baking is complete, carefully remove the loaf from the pan and let it cool on a wire rack for at least 10-15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For variations, consider substituting some bread flour with whole wheat flour, adding herbs, cheese, or seeds for extra flavor. Store cooled bread in plastic wrap or aluminum foil for 3-4 days at room temperature or slice and freeze for longer storage.
