  1. Start by thoroughly washing your limes, then cut them in half.
  2. Using a citrus juicer, squeeze out the juice. You should end up with about 1 cup of fresh lime juice. Set it aside.
Mixing
  1. In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lime juice and sugar. Mix well until the sugar has completely dissolved.
Combining
  1. Slowly pour in the 4 cups of water and give it a good stir.
