Ingredients

For the pizza
  • 1 lb Pizza Dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup Pizza Sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Halal Pepperoni (or substitute with sliced cooked chicken or turkey pepperoni)
Toppings
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers, sliced Any color you like
  • 1 cup Onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (for greasing the griddle)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the Blackstone Griddle on medium heat for about 10 minutes.
  2. Drizzle a tablespoon of olive oil over the cooking surface, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  3. Roll out your pizza dough to your desired thickness.
Cooking
  1. Place the rolled-out dough on the griddle. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the underside turns golden brown.
  2. Flip the dough over gently and add pizza sauce, spreading it evenly across the top.
  3. Layer the mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, and onions on top.
  4. Close the griddle lid and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the sauce is heated.
Serving
  1. Carefully remove the pizza from the griddle. Let it cool for a minute, then slice into wedges and serve hot.

Notes

Dough substitutions include store-bought dough or a cauliflower crust for a lighter option. Monitor crust to prevent burning, especially for thicker pizzas. Avoid using too much sauce to prevent sogginess.
