- In another bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, rolled oats, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Pour in the melted brown butter and milk, stirring until just combined.
Assembly and Baking
- Pour the blackberry mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Dollop the topping batter over the blackberries.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the blackberries are bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Best enjoyed warm, perhaps with vanilla ice cream.
