Preparation
- Cook your rice according to package instructions until fluffy. Set aside.
- In a large skillet, over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it’s browned and fully cooked, breaking it up with a spatula (about 6-8 minutes). Drain any excess fat if necessary.
- Once cooked, add soy sauce and sesame oil to the beef. Stir to combine and let it simmer for another minute to infuse the flavors.
- In a separate pan, lightly sauté the julienned carrot and zucchini over medium heat until just tender (about 3-4 minutes). Add the spinach and cook until wilted (about 1-2 minutes).
- In the same pan (or a different one), fry the egg sunny-side-up or as desired.
- In your serving bowl, add a generous scoop of cooked rice. Top it with the beef, sautéed vegetables, and the fried egg. Drizzle some Gochujang over the top to taste, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Mix everything together before eating to experience the delightful burst of flavor in every bite!
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave for about 2 minutes or in a skillet over medium heat for best results.
