Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or substitute with turkey or chicken if preferred
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 jar marinara sauce for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). This ensures the meatballs will cook evenly and develop a lovely golden crust.
  • Mix the Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix gently using your hands until just combined—no need to overdo it!
  • Form the Meatballs: Scoop out small portions of the mixture (about 1 inch in diameter) and roll them into smooth balls.
  • Place on Baking Sheet: Arrange the meatballs on a lined baking sheet, leaving a bit of space between them to allow for even cooking.
  • Bake: Pop them in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until they are browned and cooked through. You can check by cutting one in half—no pink should remain!
  • Serve: Warm your marinara sauce on the stove and serve the meatballs over your favorite pasta or in a sub. Enjoy!
