Ingredients

Meatball Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef Check for Halal options when purchasing.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley Use fresh for best flavor.
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic recommended.
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For Serving
  • 1 cup marinara sauce For drizzling or dipping.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure the meatballs get that perfect crispy texture.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, egg, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well until evenly distributed.
  3. Using your hands, roll the mixture into balls about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Set them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are golden brown and cooked through.
Serving
  1. Once done, serve them warm with marinara sauce drizzled over top, or on the side for dipping.

Notes

For perfect meatballs, use fresh ingredients and avoid overcrowding the baking sheet. Feel free to substitute ground beef with ground chicken or turkey for a leaner option.
