  • Powdered sugar for dusting Powdered sugar For finishing.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and baking powder. Whisk them together until well blended.
  2. Add the Greek yogurt to the dry ingredients. Mix until the dough comes together into a sticky but manageable dough.
  3. Lightly flour a clean surface and turn the dough out. Knead the dough a few times until smooth, then roll it out to about half an inch thick.
  4. Cut out circles using a donut cutter or round cookie cutters, or shape them by hand into small balls if preferred.
  5. Create a hole in the center of each donut and fill it with your favorite jelly, being careful not to overfill.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the donuts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring space between them.
  2. Air fry for about 5-7 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  3. Remove the donuts and let them cool slightly before dusting them generously with powdered sugar right before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to one month. To reheat, pop them back in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for a couple of minutes until warmed through.
