Preparation
- Start by greasing a 9x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray or lining it with parchment paper for easy removal later.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, peanut butter, and chocolate chips over medium heat. Stir continuously until everything is melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the mini marshmallows until they’re all coated and starting to melt.
- Gently fold in the crispy rice cereal until it is well-combined and everything’s coated in the chocolaty mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, and with a spatula, press it down evenly. Sprinkle the Easter-themed sprinkles on top.
- Allow the bars to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or until they are fully set.
- Once set, cut into bars, and enjoy a delicious Easter treat with your loved ones!
Notes
Feel free to switch up the sprinkles or add different toppings like crushed nuts or M&Ms. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 5-7 days or freeze for up to a month.
