Ingredients
  

Chocolate Base
  • 200 g high-quality dark chocolate (or milk chocolate for a sweeter touch) Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor.
  • 100 g unsalted pistachios, shelled and roughly chopped For on top garnishing, reserve some chopped pistachios.
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup Optional, for added sweetness.
  • 1 pinch sea salt To enhance the flavors.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by breaking the chocolate into small pieces and placing them in a heatproof bowl.
  2. Set the bowl over a pot of simmering water to create a double boiler effect. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  3. While the chocolate melts, chop your pistachios into small pieces. If you like, reserve a few for garnishing later.
Mixing
  1. Once the chocolate is melted, remove it from heat. Stir in the chopped pistachios and honey or maple syrup if you desire a sweeter chocolate.
Setting
  1. Line a baking dish or tray with parchment paper. Pour the chocolate and pistachio mixture onto the parchment and spread it evenly using a spatula.
  2. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top and any reserved pistachios to enhance the visual appeal.
  3. Place the tray in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until set completely.
Serving
  1. Once set, lift the chocolate out using the parchment paper and cut it into bars or squares. Enjoy!

Notes

This chocolate bar pairs beautifully with coffee or tea and can be served with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or berries for an extra indulgent treat. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
