Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, taco seasoning, and half of the shredded cheese. Stir until well blended.
- In a greased baking dish, sprinkle a layer of crushed Doritos (around 1/3 of the bag). Spoon half of the chicken mixture over the chips and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle another layer of crushed Doritos on top of the chicken mixture.
- Spread the remaining chicken mixture over the second layer of Doritos and then finish with the remaining shredded cheese.
Baking
- Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Once baked, allow to cool for a few minutes and garnish with chopped green onions or cilantro before serving.
Notes
This casserole stores well in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. To reheat, place it in the oven at 350°F until heated through.
