Ingredients
  

Dressing Base
  • 1 cup mayonnaise Use Halal-friendly mayonnaise.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Use Halal-friendly sour cream.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Flavorings
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Add to taste.
Pickles
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon pickle juice From the pickle jar.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise and sour cream until smooth.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic, dried dill, and lemon juice to form the creamy base.
  3. Fold in the finely chopped dill pickles and pickle juice.
  4. Add black pepper and salt to taste, adjusting seasoning as needed.
  5. Refrigerate the dressing for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream. Give the dressing time in the fridge for better flavor development. Be cautious not to over-mix to retain the chunky texture from the pickles.
