  • 1/4 cup pickle juice Essential for flavor; add more if you like it tangier.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped Dried dill can be used as a substitute; use about one teaspoon.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the sour cream to the mixing bowl with the cream cheese and mix until smooth.
  3. Fold in the chopped dill pickles with a spatula.
  4. Pour in the pickle juice and mix again until combined.
  5. Sprinkle in the fresh dill and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until well combined.
Chill
  1. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  2. Serve chilled with chips or veggie sticks.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days. This dip is best served cold, and there's no need to reheat.
