  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • Paprika for garnish Optional toppings include sliced olives, dill pickles, or crispy bacon bits.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by boiling the eggs. Place them in a pot and cover them with water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let them sit for 12 minutes. Transfer the eggs to a bowl of cold water to cool.
  2. Once the eggs have cooled, gently peel them. Then, slice each egg in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks.
  3. In a mixing bowl, mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  5. Sprinkle with paprika and any additional toppings you desire.
  6. Arrange the deviled eggs on a platter and serve chilled.

Notes

Use older eggs for easier peeling. Feel free to experiment with flavors by adding ingredients like avocado or hot sauce. A dash of paprika, chopped herbs, or even caviar can elevate the dish's appearance and taste.
