- Rinse 1 cup of red lentils under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a blender, combine the rinsed lentils, 1/2 cup of water, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of cumin. Blend until smooth.
- Place a non-stick skillet on medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Heat for a minute or two.
Cooking
- Pour a ladleful of lentil mixture into the skillet, spreading it like a pancake. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until bubbles form and edges turn golden brown.
- Carefully flip the flatbread and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until both sides are golden brown.
- Repeat with the remaining lentil mixture.
