Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy—about 2-3 minutes.
- Gently fold in the fresh blueberries, being careful not to crush them.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet and pinch the seams to form a large rectangle.
- Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture across the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log and seal the edges well.
- Slice the rolled dough into about 8 equal pieces and lay them cut-side up on the baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush the tops of the rolls with the egg wash.
Baking
- Bake the rolls in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Store rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze before baking. To reheat, microwave for 20-30 seconds or warm in the oven.
