  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened At room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour Fluff before scooping to avoid dry cookies.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Optional Topping
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar For dusting, optional.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar. Beat on medium speed until creamy and smooth.
  3. Add the vanilla extract. Gradually sift in the all-purpose flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  4. Scoop the dough using a spoon or cookie scoop and roll it into small balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each.
Baking
  1. Bake the cookies for about 12-15 minutes or until the edges turn golden.
  2. Once baked, cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  3. If desired, dust with powdered sugar for an extra touch of sweetness!

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months. To reheat, warm in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for about 5-10 minutes.
