  • 4 cups potatoes (Yukon gold or red), diced Cut evenly for uniform cooking.
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice) Stir in after cooking.

Preparation
  1. Start by dicing your steak into bite-sized pieces. Chop the potatoes and onion, and mince the garlic.
Cooking
  1. In the slow cooker, layer the diced steak, potatoes, onion, and garlic. Sprinkle the salt, pepper, and paprika over the top.
  2. Pour in the beef broth and the heavy cream, ensuring everything is covered.
  3. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, stir in the shredded cheese and let it melt for a few minutes before serving.
Serving
  1. Scoop into bowls and top each serving with your favorite toppings, such as sour cream or chopped green onions.

Notes

Cut size matters for uniform cooking. Experiment with different cuts of meat. Adjust seasoning to your preference. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
