  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot. Season with salt, pepper, minced garlic, oregano, and lemon juice, making sure the chicken is well-coated.
  2. Put the lid on your crockpot and set it to low heat for 6-7 hours or high heat for 3-4 hours until the chicken is fully cooked and easily shredded.
  3. Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken inside the crockpot and mix it well with the cooking juices for added flavor.
  4. Warm the whole wheat pita breads in the oven or on a skillet for a few minutes until soft.
  5. Place a generous portion of shredded Greek chicken in each pita and top with tzatziki sauce, halved cherry tomatoes, and diced cucumber.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute chicken with turkey or chickpeas for a vegetarian version. Always season your chicken generously for flavor.
