  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Enhances the aromatic flavor.
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce For savory depth.
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce Adds rich flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional) For thickening the sauce.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the beef steak into thin strips against the grain.
  2. Slice the bell peppers and onion into uniform pieces.
  3. Mince the garlic.
Cooking
  1. In the crock pot, layer the sliced beef at the bottom.
  2. Add the sliced bell peppers and onions on top of the beef.
  3. Sprinkle the minced garlic over the layers.
  4. Pour the beef broth and soy sauce over everything.
  5. Add Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cover the crock pot and cook on Low for 6-8 hours or on High for 3-4 hours.
  7. Optionally, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the mixture during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
Serving
  1. Once done, stir and taste for seasoning adjustments.
  2. Serve over rice, noodles, or in a wrap.

Notes

Leftover Crock Pot Pepper Steak can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat using a splash of broth or water to maintain moisture.
