Preparation
- Cut the beef steak into thin strips against the grain.
- Slice the bell peppers and onion into uniform pieces.
- Mince the garlic.
Cooking
- In the crock pot, layer the sliced beef at the bottom.
- Add the sliced bell peppers and onions on top of the beef.
- Sprinkle the minced garlic over the layers.
- Pour the beef broth and soy sauce over everything.
- Add Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper.
- Cover the crock pot and cook on Low for 6-8 hours or on High for 3-4 hours.
- Optionally, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the mixture during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
Serving
- Once done, stir and taste for seasoning adjustments.
- Serve over rice, noodles, or in a wrap.
Notes
Leftover Crock Pot Pepper Steak can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat using a splash of broth or water to maintain moisture.
