  • 2 pounds beef kielbasa Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Cut into pats
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini peppers
  • to taste Salt and pepper To enhance flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Grease the bottom of your slow cooker lightly to enhance easy clean-up later on.
  2. Cut the beef kielbasa into bite-sized pieces and place them in the slow cooker.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix. Mix well before sprinkling it evenly over the sausage pieces.
  4. Slice the unsalted butter into pats and add them on top of the sausage and seasonings.
  5. Add the pepperoncini peppers and sprinkle with a little salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Once cooked, gently stir to combine the sausage and seasonings, then serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

For alternative proteins, turkey sausage can be a great Halal-friendly option. If you're pressed for time, cooking on high for 3-4 hours will still give you great results without sacrificing flavor. Avoid overloading your cooker for best results.
