Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a frying pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the grated zucchini with eggs, salt, and pepper.
Breading
- Prepare three separate bowls: one for the flour, one for the egg mixture, and one for the breadcrumbs mixed with cheese.
- Take a spoonful of the zucchini mixture, dip it in the flour, coat it in the egg mixture, and then roll it in the breadcrumbs mixture until fully coated.
Cooking
- If baking, place the coated sticks on a lined baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and bake for about 20-25 minutes until golden.
- If frying, carefully place them in hot oil and fry until crispy and golden brown.
Serving
- Remove the sticks from the heat and serve with your choice of sauces.
Notes
To achieve the best crispiness, squeeze out as much moisture as possible from the grated zucchini. Don't overcrowd the baking sheet.
