  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • black pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Open the can of chickpeas and drain them well. Rinse under cold water.
  3. Lay the chickpeas on a clean kitchen towel or paper towel and gently pat them dry.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the chickpeas with olive oil, salt, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer.
Cooking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the chickpeas for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  2. Once golden brown and crispy, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.

Notes

To enhance flavor, consider topping with nutritional yeast or your favorite spices. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for optimal crunch.
