  • 1.5 cups almond flour Primary base for the crackers
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder Optional for flavor
  • 0.25 teaspoon onion powder Optional for extra taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Or any preferred cooking oil
  • as needed water For achieving the right consistency

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the almond flour, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and baking powder until there are no clumps.
  3. Add the egg and olive oil into the dry mixture and stir until well combined. Add water gradually until the dough holds together.
  4. Lay the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out to about 1/8-inch thickness.
  5. Cut the rolled dough into squares or rectangles using a pizza cutter or knife.
  6. Transfer the crackers with the bottom parchment onto a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Let the crackers cool on the baking sheet before breaking them apart.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. Freeze for up to 3 months for longer storage. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 5-10 minutes to restore crunchiness.
