  • 1 cup flour For breading; substitute with gluten-free flour if desired.
  • 1 tsp paprika Adds flavor and color.
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp cooking spray Use to prevent sticking.
For the Honey Butter Garlic Sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey Adjust sweetness to your preference.
  • 2 tbsp butter Melted before combining with garlic.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic is best for flavor.

Preparation
  1. Start by patting the chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly for even seasoning.
  3. Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture and shake off any excess.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and spray the basket lightly with cooking spray.
  2. Place the coated chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  3. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Making the Sauce
  1. While the chicken cooks, melt the butter in a small pan over low heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, then stir in the honey until combined.
Serving
  1. Once the chicken is cooked, transfer the tenders to a large bowl.
  2. Pour the honey butter garlic sauce over the tenders and toss gently until well-coated.
  3. Plate and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the air fryer for 5-7 minutes at 375°F (190°C) to restore crispiness.
