  • 2 large tortillas or wraps Use flour or corn tortillas as per preference.
  • 1 cup crispy air fryer chicken, chopped Ensure the chicken is cooked until crispy.
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded Feel free to substitute with your favorite cheese.
  • 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup onion, sliced Red onion recommended for flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Can substitute with avocado oil.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust according to personal preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the chicken in the air fryer until golden brown and crispy, according to your air fryer instructions. Allow it to cool slightly before chopping into bite-sized pieces.
  2. On a large tortilla, lay down a generous portion of chopped crispy chicken. Sprinkle on shredded mozzarella cheese followed by lettuce, diced tomatoes, and onion.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top to create a neat wrap.
  5. If desired, place the wraps back in the air fryer for a minute or two to help the cheese melt and the outside crisp up even more.
  6. Slice in half and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Feel free to swap chicken for turkey or roasted chickpeas for a vegetarian option. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 5-7 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
