For the Casserole
  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled sausage or a meat of your choice
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent rolls and gently press them into the bottom of a greased small baking dish, creating a crust.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Stir in the cooked sausage and cheese until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the crescent crust in the baking dish, ensuring even distribution.
  5. Place the casserole in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  6. Once out of the oven, allow the casserole to rest for a few minutes, then cut into squares. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat portions in the microwave or oven. You can freeze the casserole before baking for later enjoyment.
