Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 36 cookies Oreo cookies (crushed) Crushed into fine crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
For the creamy layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened) Should be at room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping (thawed) Or freshly whipped cream, stabilized
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup (optional for drizzling) Add just before serving
  • to taste extra crushed Oreos for garnish

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter. Stir until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch glass dish to create the crust.
  2. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, whipped topping, and vanilla extract. Mix until fluffy and well combined.
  3. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the Oreo crust evenly.
  4. Repeat the process by adding another layer of the crust (remaining crushed Oreos) over the cream cheese layer, followed by the rest of the creamy mixture on top.
  5. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight for best results) to let the layers set.
  6. Before serving, drizzle with chocolate syrup and sprinkle extra crushed Oreos for a finishing touch. Cut into squares and enjoy!
