  • - 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • - 1 teaspoon salt
  • - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • - 1 teaspoon paprika
  • - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • #### **For the Creamy Sauce**
  • - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • - 4 cloves garlic minced
  • - 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • - 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
  • - 1 cup heavy cream
  • - 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • - 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • - 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
  • #### **For the Pasta**
  • - 12 oz fettuccine or linguine
  • - 1 tablespoon salt for boiling water

Instructions
 

  • #### **Step 1: Cook the Pasta**
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • #### **Step 2: Cook the Shrimp**
  • Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side until opaque and slightly golden. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 1 minute.
  • Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring until combined.
  • Add Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.

  • Return shrimp to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce.
  • Add cooked pasta, tossing until evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle with fresh basil and additional Parmesan.
