Method
Preparation
- Generously season both sides of the steaks with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, carefully place the steaks in the skillet.
- Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare (or longer if you prefer a different doneness). Remove the steaks and let them rest on a plate.
Sauce Making
- In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Let it simmer gently for about 2-3 minutes until it starts to thicken.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and fully incorporated.
- Check and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
Serving
- Place the steaks back into the skillet and spoon the creamy garlic sauce over them.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For optimal results, use high-quality meat and avoid rushing the searing process. Mind the garlic to prevent it from burning and affecting the sauce's flavor. Customize the sauce with additional herbs for extra flavor.
