Ingredients

For the Steak
  • 2 pieces ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 1 inch thick) Choose high-quality steak
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For searing the steak
For the Sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced) Freshly minced garlic for flavor
  • 1 cup heavy cream For creaminess
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese For flavor and texture
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped) For garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Generously season both sides of the steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, carefully place the steaks in the skillet.
  3. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare (or longer if you prefer a different doneness). Remove the steaks and let them rest on a plate.
Sauce Making
  1. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream and stir, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  3. Let it simmer gently for about 2-3 minutes until it starts to thicken.
  4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and fully incorporated.
  5. Check and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
Serving
  1. Place the steaks back into the skillet and spoon the creamy garlic sauce over them.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For optimal results, use high-quality meat and avoid rushing the searing process. Mind the garlic to prevent it from burning and affecting the sauce's flavor. Customize the sauce with additional herbs for extra flavor.
