Ingredients

For the Salmon
  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (approximately 6 oz each) Use fresh, high-quality salmon for the best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Use fresh garlic for the best taste.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute part with chicken broth for a lighter version.
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed for the best flavor.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients to ensure a smooth cooking process.
Cooking the Salmon
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. Once the oil is hot, add the fillets, skin-side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Making the Creamy Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add the Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, mixing until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens slightly.
Combining & Serving
  1. Return the salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over the top. Let it simmer for another minute.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving, and enjoy your culinary masterpiece!
