  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for searing
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced fresh
  • 1 cup chicken broth high-quality recommended
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme for flavor
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley for flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and cover to keep warm.
  2. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and scrape any browned bits from the pan to add flavor. Allow the broth to simmer for about 3-5 minutes until slightly reduced.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, thyme, and parsley. Simmer for another 3-4 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and coat it in the creamy sauce, allowing it to simmer for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes or rice to soak up the sauce. Pair with a vibrant green salad or roasted vegetables for a balanced meal.
