Ingredients

Cucumber Base
  • 2 large large cucumbers Choose firm, fresh cucumbers for the best texture.
Creamy Dressing
  • 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt Either option works well for a creamy base.
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar or apple cider vinegar Adds tanginess to the dressing.
  • 1 tablespoon sugar Balances the acidity of the vinegar.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Provides a mild garlic flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill Fresh dill can be used for more flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust according to preference.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash the cucumbers and slice them thinly, peeling if preferred but leaving the skin on for texture.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream (or Greek yogurt), vinegar, sugar, garlic powder, dill, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until combined smoothly.
  3. Add the cucumber slices to the dressing and toss until well coated.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to meld the flavors.
  5. Give the salad a good mix before serving and enjoy the refreshing crunch!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For best results, mix dressing and cucumbers just before serving to avoid sogginess.
