Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz pasta (your choice, such as rotini or penne)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced Ensure chicken is cooked thoroughly.
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (ensure it’s Halal-friendly)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (Halal-friendly)
  • 1/4 cup croutons For added crunch.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method

Cooking
  1. Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. If you don’t already have cooked chicken, season diced chicken with salt and pepper, cooking it in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
Combining
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, diced chicken, and chopped romaine lettuce.
  2. Pour the Caesar dressing over the top and mix gently until everything is well-coated.
Serving
  1. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and croutons over the salad. Give it one final gentle toss.
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes.

Notes

Consider substitutions like grilled shrimp or turkey, and try adding cherry tomatoes or bell peppers. Store leftovers without dressing for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
