  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Ensure room temperature for smooth mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1/2 cup diced green onions
  • 1/4 cup diced bell pepper, any color
  • 1/4 cup salsa
Spices
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
For Serving
  • Tortilla chips For dipping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and salsa. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add in cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, diced tomatoes, green onions, and bell pepper. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Season with garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully incorporated.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Smooth out the top with a spatula.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and lightly golden on top.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving with tortilla chips.

Notes

Customize with toppings like jalapeños, green onions, or crispy bacon. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
