Ingredients

Sliders
  • 8 pieces mini slider buns Perfect for holding the filling
  • 1 pound flank or ribeye steak, sliced thin Choose based on preference for tenderness
Cowboy Butter
  • ½ cup butter, softened For spreading on sliders
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adds aromatic kick
  • ¼ cup parsley, chopped For a fresh touch
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Enhances flavor with smokiness
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice For a delightful twist
  • ½ teaspoon salt To taste
  • ½ teaspoon pepper To taste

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated.
Cooking the Steak
  1. Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Season steak slices with salt and pepper. Grill or sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to desired doneness.
Toasting the Buns
  1. Cut slider buns in half. Once the steak is cooked, add the butter mix to the hot skillet just long enough to melt. Place the slider buns cut side down in the skillet to toast lightly.
Assembling the Sliders
  1. Lay down a generous layer of steak on the bottom half of each toasted slider bun. Top with additional cowboy butter and any extra toppings of your choice, then place the top bun on.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with your choice of sides, like crispy fries or a fresh salad.

Notes

Substitutions include lean beef, chicken, or turkey. For the best flavor, cook steak to medium-rare. Consider preparing a double batch for larger gatherings. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
