  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Use fresh, high-quality chicken for the best results.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Divided into two portions.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Enhances the buttery sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnishing and flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped Adds an aromatic flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice For a zesty kick.
  • to taste none salt and pepper Seasonings for the chicken.

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, melt half of the butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the chopped parsley, thyme, and lemon juice.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the buttery garlic sauce generously over it. Allow the chicken to simmer for a couple of minutes to soak in the flavor.
Serving
  1. Serve the Cowboy Butter Chicken hot, garnished with extra parsley if desired. Pair it with rice, pasta, or veggies for a complete meal.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently with chicken broth or water to maintain moisture. Portions can be frozen for up to 3 months.
