Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  5. Gently fold in the crushed cotton candy and colored sprinkles until well distributed.
  6. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about an inch apart.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  2. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. You can freeze them for longer storage. Reheat in the microwave for a few seconds to enjoy warm cookies.
