Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
- Gently fold in the crushed cotton candy and colored sprinkles until well distributed.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about an inch apart.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. You can freeze them for longer storage. Reheat in the microwave for a few seconds to enjoy warm cookies.
