Preparation
  1. In a blender or food processor, combine the cottage cheese, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth and creamy, ensuring there are no lumps left.
  2. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness by adding more honey or syrup if necessary.
  3. Transfer the mousse into serving dishes or a large bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Once chilled, top with whipped cream, a dollop of extra peanut butter, or your favorite toppings.

Notes

The mousse can be refrigerated for up to 3 days. For a dairy-free option, substitute cottage cheese with silken tofu. Avoid over-blending to maintain a creamy texture.
