  • 2-3 cups Tortilla chips Use your preference for plain or flavored tortilla chips.
  • 1 cup Cottage cheese Any style you prefer.
Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Salsa Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1/2 cup Shredded cheese Optional.
  • 1 small Diced tomatoes More can be added for topping.
  • to taste Sliced jalapeƱos Add according to your spice preference.
  • 1/2 cup Guacamole Optional.
  • Chopped green onions For garnish.
  • Cilantro For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients. Wash and chop fresh vegetables as needed.
Assembly
  1. Lay out a generous portion of tortilla chips on a large plate or bowl.
  2. Spoon the cottage cheese evenly over the nacho chips.
  3. Pour the salsa on top of the cottage cheese.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, jalapeƱos, and any additional toppings you desire.
  5. Top with guacamole and sprinkle green onions and cilantro for garnish.

Notes

For a variation, feel free to swap cottage cheese for Greek yogurt. Prepare toppings in advance for gatherings, but add them just before serving to keep the nachos crispy.
